CS:GO and Dota 2 views on Twitch dropped by more than a third in March

Viewer interest in CS:GO, and Dota 2 on Twitch decreased in March. This was reported by the analytical portal Streams Charts.

Experts noted that CS:GO and Dota 2 are consistently the most popular games in the Russian segment of Twitch. However, in March, they lost 38% and 39% of viewing hours, respectively. At the same time, during the spring period, the second season of Dota Pro Circuit 2021/2022 and ESL Pro League Season 15 started — major championships in both disciplines.

Overall viewership interest in the platform has also declined. During the period from January 23 to February 23, the Russian-language segment of Twitch gathered 139.7 million hours of viewers, and from February 24 to March 24, it lost 32% of the audience, having gathered 95 million hours. It is worth bearing in mind that February — is the shortest month of the year.

Earlier, a stream featuring naked breasts appeared on the Twitch homepage. This was due to a paid feature to promote the broadcasts.
