Riot Games has restricted Alex “Dyslexic” Luong from playing in their tournaments until October 2030.
In October 2022, the player lied to the company and took part in the EQ Cerise tournament as a member of the women’s team. Together with Jennifer “nabiichu” Cho, Alex convinced Riot that he was non-binary.
During the game itself, Riot Anti-Cheat experts discovered “numerous instances” of cheating by Luong. As a result of the investigation, the organizers disqualified EQ Cerise from the qualifying tournament because of Dyslexic’s dishonest play.
The Dyslexic himself denied cheating, but Riot Games found evidence. The player admitted that he was in cahoots with nabiichu about the non-binary personality story. The girl was suspended until October 2027. She plans to play Valorant on streamers
