In the grand finals of VALORANT Champions 2023, Evil Geniuses defeated Paper Rex. The match ended 3:1 (13:10 by Split, 11:13 by Ascent, 13:5 by Bind, and 13:10 by Lotus). Kelden’s team Boostio Papello, took first place and earned a million dollars, while the second finalist received $400 000.
Evil Geniuses defeated EDward Gaming and DRX on their way to the deciding match, and after losing to Paper Rex, they defeated LOUD in the bottom set. Paper Rex made it to the finals without a single loss.
VALORANT Champions 2023 took place from 6 to 26 August in Los Angeles. Twenty teams competed for a prize pool of $2.25 million.
