Publishing house KRAFTON and PUBG Studio presented “Battle Royal” PUBG: New State — a sequel to the original action game. An announcement trailer was published on YouTube. The game will be released in 2021 for mobile devices with iOS and Android.
The story of PUBG: New State will be happening in 2051 on a new map Troi. Developers promise futuristic armors, transports, and gadgets such as drones and deployable shields. Except this, the game will get the possibility to improve gameplay mechanisms, such as customized lightened weapons.
The new “Battle Royal” is also supposed to widen the lore of the PUBG universe. In December during The Game Awards 2020 the horror The Callisto Protocol was announced by the creators of Dead Space. Its events will be held in the PUBG world but in a few thousands of years on the dead moon beside Jupiter.
