TSM wants to dominate in mobile esports industry globally

TSM announced that money will be used for expanding the organization by building new offices in regions of Asia, Europe, and South America. Most of these plans are aimed at investment in mobile games development. The company is trying to enhance its position in India which has a promising mobile games market. TSM had already entered Indian esports with Entity Gaming in 2020.

Entity Gaming’s lineup contains such professional players as Abhijeet “Ghatak” Andhare, Suraj “Neyoo” Majumdar, Jonathan Amaral, Abhishek “ZGOD” Choudhary, and Vivek “ClutchGod” Horo. This team has previously won PUBG Mobile India Series before the game was banned in India. TSM has recently announced that both team and organization decided to end up working together.

TSM’s director, Jeff “Sui Generis” Chau claimed that the reason for the changes was the different interests of both team and organization. He added that TSM couldn’t receive enough popularity in India for its insufficiently long market presence. Chau refused to share details of cooperation with Entity Gaming. Although, TSM has already signed a new BGMI team with another organization.

Besides BGMI, TSM also signed a Free Fire team roster in India. It has acquired the team roster of Silence featuring Jayesh “Jay” Yadav, Indranil “Indro” Saha, Sagar “Illuminati” Patel, Titas “Stoner” Roy, and Naitik “Oldmonk” Khoshto in June.

According to Chau’s comments, TSM has great plans for both BGMI and Free Fire teams. He said that the organization plans to expand its influence in India. He also spoke about their plans for the SEA region. Chau stressed that TSM must focus on the current possibilities. However, the organization will consider the SEA in its expansion strategy for the future.
