Valve has released an update for Dota 2, with which it has improved matchmaking for full groups. The developers have also added the option to surrender, but it is only available to teams who have started searching in a lobby of five.
The system will now find a match faster for full groups, as their opponents can be players from different lobbies. In addition, a team of five who were at a party during the search will be able to give up after the 30th minute. To do so, they must text GG in the general chat and wait for the 10-second timer to expire, as in official encounters.
Earlier in Dota 2, the neutral item Apex was weakened. The last major update, 7.31d was released on the night of June 9. With it, Valve revised the characteristics of heroes and items and added the Marci character to Captains Mode.
