The analytical company Sportradar has presented a report on match-fixing for the year 2021.
By the number of rigged matches, eSports is in second place, behind only football.
According to Sportradar, suspicious results were noticed in one of 384 monitored events – 0.26% of the total.
The company recorded a total of 47 match-fixing events in eSports last year. The most frequent suspicious matches took place in Europe – 57%.
Dota 2 and CS:GO were the leaders in the number of suspicious matches.
