FIFA 22 will add the ability to play with players on another platform.
EA has announced that it will start testing the crossplay feature in FIFA 22 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Google Stadia. The company announced that this would help when introducing the option to future games in the series.
During the test, the crossplay feature will be available in “Seasons” and online exhibition games. In order to activate crossplay, it’s necessary to press R2 on PS5 or RT on Xbox in the main menu of the game. To play with friends from another platform, select the “add a friend” option and then enter their EA nickname. After that, you have to enter the online match and invite them into the lobby.
EA hasn’t announced when the crossplay feature will appear in FIFA 22.
