FaZe Clan will start at IEM Katowice 2022 with a replacement – ropz has been infected with coronavirus

FaZe Clan CS:GO player Robin ropz Kohl has tested positive for coronavirus before the IEM Katowice 2022. The cyber athlete announced this on Twitter.

Ropz noted that he learned he had contracted the coronavirus a few days after arriving at the FaZe Clan boot camp before IEM Katowice 2022. The player showed some symptoms of the disease and after receiving the test result he was isolated from the other team members.

According to Kolya, he won’t be able to take part in the IEM Katowice 2022 starting matches with the team. FaZe Clan has not yet announced who will replace the player at the championship. Ropz added that he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of returning to the starting roster before the tournament is over. He will be quarantined until February 19.

IEM Katowice 2022 will take place Feb. 15-27 in Poland. 24 teams will compete for one million dollars. FaZe Clan will start the tournament with a match against Sprout in the Play-In stage.
