“Battle Royale” Free Fire topped the rating of the most downloaded mobile games in January. Statistics provided by the portal Sensor Tower.
It is noted that about a quarter of downloads came from users in India. However, on February 14, the Indian government banned 54 applications from the App Store and Google Play, owned by Chinese companies, including Free Fire. The second-highest number of downloads of the game was Brazil, with 11% of the total number of downloads.
“Battle Royale” topped both the overall ranking on all platforms and a separate one for Android. At the same time, on iOS, it was not included in the top 10 – there the first was the Subway Surfers runner. It also took second place in the overall ranking and the list of the most popular applications on Google Play.
