Gambit allows their team to participate in the European Valorant Championship in neutral status

Gambit’s Valorant players will be allowed to continue participating in the European Championships.

“Friends, difficult times continue for everyone, first and foremost for those of us who have family and friends in Ukraine. Right now, it is especially valuable that eSports support fans and sportsmen from different countries different cultures. It is our sincere wish that the tournaments will continue and the players will be able to focus on honing their skills and successful performances in the competitions.

That is why we decided to allow our players to take part in the VCT as an independent team,” said Gambit in a statement.

Gambit finished 2nd in the Valorant World Championship, losing to Acend in the final. Gambit player Ayaz “nAts” Akhmetshin was named Valorant Player of the Year by CIS Esports Best 2021.

Earlier, Gambit’s CS:GO squad was allowed to participate on neutral status at ESL Pro League 15.
