CS:GO player Nikolai device Reedtz will continue his career with Astralis. It was announced by his former club, Ninjas in Pyjamas, which he has represented since the spring of 2021. There was no official announcement from the Danish organization at the time of publication.
Device played for Astralis from 2016 to 2021. With that club, the eSportsman won four majors and numerous other tournaments. Then Reedtz joined Ninjas in Pyjamas, but after half a year of playing for the Swedish club, he went inactive to solve his mental health problems. Since December 2021, the Dane has not played on the professional stage.
Previously, Astralis expelled Christian Vineke from the main roster. He was involved in a nightclub brawl and had to miss the RMR European tournament before the IEM Rio Major 2022 due to his injury. Later it became known that the cyber athlete also clashed with one of the casters at the tournament.
