NAVI has been fined for consuming snus at the Valorant World Championships.
The administration of Valorant Champions 2023 has fined NAVI for consuming snus.
During the match, NAVI player Kirill “Ange1” Karasev used snus (shredded moistened tobacco, which is usually put behind the lip) on the first map of the match NAVI – DRX – it is forbidden by the tournament rules. The organizers penalized the team for one of the two timeouts available during the match.
NAVI lost the first map 13:5, then on the second map they won 13:9, and on the third map they brought the match to extra time but lost with the score 12:14. The Ukrainian club will play a decider against the winner of the pair Liquid – Loud for the playoffs.
