PSG.LGD defeated Team Spirit in the final of the Gamers8 Riyadh Masters in Dota 2. The match ended at 2:0. The Chinese team was awarded $1.6 million for their victory.
Both finalists qualified for the playoffs from Group B. On their way to the final, Team Spirit defeated Royal Never Give Up and Team Secret, while LGD beat Nigma Galaxy and OG.
The Gamers8 Riyadh Masters was held from 20 to 24 July in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The prize pool for the championship was $5 million.
Prize pool distribution:
- 1st place: PSG.LGD – $1.6m;
- 2nd place: Team Spirit – $850K;
- 3-4 places: OG and Team Secret – $525K each;
- 5-6 places: Nigma Galaxy and Royal Never Give Up – $300k each;
- 7-8 places: TSM FTX and Tundra Esports – $250k each;
- 9-10 places: Team Liquid and Deboosters – $200k each.
