Riot Games have announced the date and location for the Mid-Season Invitational 2021 for the League of Legends tournament. The championship will be held from 6 to 23 of May in Reykjavik, Iceland. The announcement happened on the official games website.
The tournament will be in Laugardalshöll. In the announcement was mentioned that every player on arrival will be in quarantine first. Then to all safety procedures to be followed the Mid-Season Invitational 2021 will not allow the audience.
Except for this, the organizers have said that the format of the competition will be changed. There will not be a preliminary stage. All teams will start from one of three stages. Mid-Season Invitational 2021 will start from group games. Then two best from each group’s teams will go further. Then In the second stage, the four strongest teams will be chosen. And They will play in a play-off.
