Team Liquid has become the first team to play at The International 2023 for Dota 2. At the end of ESL One Berlin Major 2023, the team will score a total of at least 1 400 Dota Pro Circuit points, which, according to the Liquipedia website, guarantees the team a slot at the main tournament of the year. Liquid also announced this on their social networks.
Aiden iNSaNiA Sarcoi’s roster earned the required number of points thanks to finishing in the top 4 of the Berlin majors. For that, the team will receive at least 350 DPC points. Previously, the team has twice finished in the top-1 on the Dota Pro Circuit for Western Europe. In addition, Liquid finished second at The Lima Major 2023.
At the time of publication, the dates and locations of The International 2023 are unknown. A total of 18 teams will play in the championship, 12 of which will receive a slot in the tournament thanks to Dota Pro Circuit points.
ESL One Berlin Major 2023 takes place from April 26 to May 7 in Germany. Competitors will win $500 000 and 2 700 Dota Pro Circuit points.
