Tundra Esports and Shopify Rebellion have scored enough Dota Pro Circuit points to qualify for The International 2023. According to Liquipedia, both teams have passed the current threshold of 1,160 points for a guaranteed slot at TI12.
Tundra Esports and Shopify Rebellion reached the required number of DPC points at the end of the league’s third season. The teams finished in first place in the first division for Western Europe and North America, respectively, earning 500 points each. On top of that, both teams were selected for The Bali Major 2023.
The International 2023 will take place from October 14th to 29th in the United States. There will be 18 teams in the tournament. According to the official rankings on the Dota 2 website, no team is guaranteed to participate in the TI12 – data from Valve have a big discrepancy with the calculations of Liquipedia. As it turned out later, the studio did not take into account the first-season DPC scores of some teams and added increased penalties.
