Buyers of tournament skins have added $20 million to the VALORANT Champions 2023 prize pool, the developers announced on Twitter.
In total, Riot Games has sold $40 million worth of skins for the 2023 World Championship, with only 50% of the total amount going to the prize pool. The collection is not over yet – you can still purchase items in the in-game store until 29 August.
VALORANT Champions 2023 will take place in Los Angeles from the 6th to the 26th of August. The starting prize pool for the tournament is $2.25 million.
