Russian Dota 2 club Virtus.pro will not go to TI11 directly by Valve’s decision.
According to community calculations, Outsiders (Virtus.pro) should have 1020,05 points and Fnatic 1020 points. But according to Dota 2 developer Valve’s calculations, Outsiders (VP) scored 1019 points for the season, while Fnatic scored 1020.
Initially, it was assumed that Valve made a mistake in the calculations, but the company has not changed its decision.
Thus, Fnatic became the 12th team to advance to The International on DPC points. Virtus.pro will play in the Eastern European regional qualifiers.
The International 2022 Dota 2 World Championship will be held in Singapore from October 20 to 30. The prize fund of the tournament is not yet reported, but last year’s teams played for $ 40 million.
Previously, Valve banned Virtus.pro from participating under their name in international tournaments. As a result, the club plays under the Outsiders tag.
