Valve officially announced Counter-Strike 2 – release this year

Valve has officially announced Counter-Strike 2 on the Source 2 engine. Promotional videos with the game’s features were published on YouTube and on the official website of the new game.

In Counter-Strike 2, the developers will improve the tick rate and the appearance of various maps and add a number of new mechanics. The updated shooter will be released in the summer of 2023, and on March 22, the closed beta testing will start.
