Valve has announced that The International 2023 on Dota 2 will be held in Seattle, USA. The competition is scheduled for October 2023. The announcement took place on the broadcast of ESL One Berlin Major 2023.
This will be the seventh tournament in The International Series to be hosted by Seattle. From 2012 to 2017, six consecutive championships were held there.
The last event, The International 2022, was held in Singapore. The champion of that event was Tundra Esports. The first place at the last TI in Seattle was taken by Team Liquid – the prize pool of that tournament reached $24.7 million. It should be noted that the team has already guaranteed its place in TI12.
