Vitality has become the ESL Pro League Season 16 champion. The team defeated Liquid 3-2 in the finals (7:16 on Inferno, 16:7 on Dust 2, 21:25 on Mirage, 19:17 on Overpass, and 16:11 on Vertigo).
For the club of Dan “Apex” Madeskler, the win was the first at a major tournament in 2022. The roster had previously won the land in December when it took the IEM Winter 2021 trophy.
For a first place on EPL 16, Vitality earned $200 000 and an invite to the BLAST Premier World Final 2022. Liquid took 2nd place and earned $85 000.
